Care Instructions for Handmade Rugs
To preserve the quality, appearance, and longevity of your handmade rug, please follow the care guidelines below:
Initial Placement: Allow your rug to settle flat after unpacking. Minor creasing may occur during shipping and will relax naturally over time.
Vacuuming: Vacuum regularly using a low-power setting without a beater bar. Avoid excessive or aggressive vacuuming.
Spot Cleaning: Blot spills immediately with a clean, dry cloth. Do not rub. Use mild soap and cold water if necessary, and test on a small area first.
Moisture Exposure: Avoid prolonged exposure to moisture. Do not machine wash or soak your rug unless explicitly stated.
Sunlight: Keep rugs out of direct sunlight for extended periods to prevent fading.
Rotation: Rotate your rug periodically to ensure even wear.
Professional Cleaning: For deep cleaning, we recommend professional rug cleaning services experienced with handmade or natural-fiber rugs.
